ACCOMMODATION

Built with the health, safety and happiness of your cat in mind.

Luxury chalets have full height sleeping accommodation, each with their own thermostatically controlled tubular heaters, and heated pads to sleep on during the colder months. This combined with well insulated chalets insures that your cat(s) will be as snug as they would be at home. And cool in the summer.

Each play area is equipped with a cat aerobic platform to allow ease of movement and entertainment. Basic toys that can be easily disinfected are supplied, but we recommend that a favorite toy is brought along with your cat to give him/her a sense of familiarity. It is also recommended that your cats favorite blanket or similar is left with your cat to help with settling down on arrival. Although blankets (and anything else your cat requires) are provided, so they can travel light if wished.

The full height chalets offer a spacious and warm sleeping area. They are especially good for older cats or those with limited mobility - with no steep ramps to negotiate to get to bed - the sleeping arrangements can be lowered to suit your cats needs.

Worried or nervous cats are never left to feel frightened, they are comforted and encouraged to enjoy their stay at Meadow Lodge.

Should your cat require grooming please bring your cats own brushes/comb, for reasons of hygiene we do not provide communal brushes.

HEALTH

To comply with boarding licensing law, we require your cat(s) to have the standard vaccination for cat flu and feline enteritis, please do not forget to bring your vaccination card with you on the day.

To help alleviate stress please bring your cats own blanket/ favourite toy or anything with your cats scent on - this helps to relax them.

Please ensure your cats flea and worm treatments are up to date - should any flea or worm treatment be necessary during their stay, the cost of the medication will be charged accordingly.

MEDICATION

Whilst we will not accept any cats with (or showing signs of) infectious contagious disease, we are happy to accept cats on medication, and to discuss your cats requirements and accommodate their needs during their stay.

MEALS

Meals are served twice a day, but additional attention is given to elderly cats, kittens and those with special needs, and extra meals given accordingly.

A variety of wet meats and biscuits are stocked at Meadow Lodge. We try to cater for the fussiest eaters, please inform us of your cats favourite meals so we can obtain some for their stay.

However, if dietary requirements are on prescription you must provide enough of their food for the duration of the stay as we can not obtain it on your behalf.

HOURS

Please book an appointment prior to visiting the cattery. Between the hours of: 9-11am and 4-6pm Monday - Saturday, 4-6pm on Sundays. Although we prefer to keep visits between these hours if possible, we can be flexible within reason.
